It's still irrelevant. The reactions on this post should be enough to let you know that we have heard it before.

And often times they don't, and furthermore, it's extremely irrelevant information. Why do we need to know what ChildrenoftheKoRn there prefers? I'm really tired of being spoken to about men's preferences and how they can see a woman's inner beauty and all that, it's just more pressure on a woman to look the way a man…
I in fact do not wear makeup. Furthermore, the fact that you are with somebody who doesn't doesn't mean that you know how other people look with/without makeup. At no point did I insult anyone, I merely made the statement that it's not wise to assume you know what other people do when it's something that you may not…
Consider that if you are a man who does not wear makeup, you likely have no idea who is or isn't wearing makeup or how much. You have no idea how many times I've heard men say that kind of thing about women who, to my eye, are obviously wearing subtle makeup.
The one thing I'll say for CrossFit is that my biggest client (freelance designer) owns a CrossFit gym and he is the nicest, most respectful, promptly-paying client I've ever had. His graphics are really hilarious to do (SO manly. SO much testosterone.) but the guy seriously one time sent me payment twice because he…
That was my exact reaction. I clicked on this article and my panties just spontaneously tore off of my body.
I momentarily misread that and thought you meant the kid's name was "Justice Karate [Smith]" and now I am so, so disappointed.
I cosplay! I make super elaborate costumes and wear them to conventions, I'm proud to say I've even won a few awards! It's crazy fun and really rewarding. Cosplay implies that you are dressed up as a character from something like a tv show, video game, etc. rather than just making yourself a Renaissance dress or…
I completely grok why someone would want to do this.
I went to my junior one (and had a good time but certainly nothing life-changing) but I skipped my senior prom to go to a convention and cosplay. As a person who is now in 3 weeks planning on skipping her Masters graduation ceremony to go to a convention and cosplay, I'll tell you the con was definitely a better…
That's not really true. The concept of the Holy Trinity states that Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit are one being.
Yeah, I would be waaaaay too afraid to get a potentially difficult piercing in the middle of my face. I'm kind of a baby about piercing scars on the face, I got my septum pierced instead of a regular nose piercing like 60% for that reason (the other 40% being that I look super hardcore this way, heheheh).
Yeah, they're like piercings except they have a flat back that sits under the surface of the skin instead of going all the way through like a piercing would. I'll confess that they kind of creep me out, and I say this as a person who has stretched earlobes, eyebrow piercing, nasal septum piercing, and a few scattered…
I just watched that last night and didn't realize it was at my alma mater at first until I realized I recognized the campus! Go Badgers!
I don't dislike them but I think people are deluding themselves if they don't acknowledge that potatoes exist mostly as a vehicle for other flavors. Mashed potatoes don't taste like anything to me unless there's a fuckton of garlic and butter in them.
I'm really glad you posted his name. I'd been wondering how he was doing and I'm glad to hear that it sounds like he's as (relatively) good as could be expected. That picture just chilled me knowing that he was in that situation, feeling that pain and horror at the very moment I was looking at it.
WoC/PoC is intended to encompass any person that is visibly not white as they have common and shared experiences that span across races. Its history and intent is very, very different from "colored," although it does kind of sound the same.
Which is extra unfortunate considering that the term Women/People of Color was created and popularized for the exact opposite reason, to create an inclusive and all-encompassing name for all people who share the experience of having non-white skin or appearance. There's nothing un-PC about saying "black women" when…
