Whistleblowing is an absolutely necessary activity in any country, and doubly so where we have fought for freedoms worth protecting. The fact he fears for his life, freedom, and safety for the documents he released is just another nail in the coffin of democracy.

The only thing keeping him alive is the notion of what his death might bring. His death would further vindicate him, breed further distrust in the American government and the intelligence community, and serve as a major blow to deeply-invested private contractors.

So is that him basically admitting to being a rapist?
