The Australian government treats asylum seekers as criminals, so let's get that out of the way: These people shouldn't be living in the places they are living for as long as they do.
At last glance, all feminine hygiene products were included as GST exempt. This may have changed. GST laws are stupidly complex. They include recipes and all kinds of stuff.
That's completely true, but I honestly don't see the connection between the headline and the letter. There aren't any female directors I can think of who can take the place of the directors he mentioned.
I think I made my point pretty clear, so I made a snarky one sentence answer here. But it wasn't actually going to do anything but make things worse. My apologies. Instead I'll try and address the point that I think you made. I asked you to explain and you answered with a mindless, demonstrably untrue slogan.
I'll explain my point when you make a coherent one.
They've been that way for quite a while. Buying mod chips for consoles can result in jail time. Buying or selling things that let you play unlicensed software on any gaming system likewise. Movies are released up to a year later than the rest of the world in order to curb an imaginary epidemic of cinema cam torrenting.
Not even close to joking. Seeing grown adults act that way is either adorable or tragic. It depends on the day.
Japan's adult population has a bizarre love of Disney. On any given day, the train running to and from Tokyo Disney has fully grown women in furry, leopard print Mickey and Minnie ear hats slumped against each other asleep under a mound of giftshop bags.
Japan is so down on intellectual property that you can now go to prison for torrenting. Maximum 2 years per offence.
Your violent, shameless grab for power will lead to more brutal, desperate powermongers just like you to cut you down in the street.
We'll never really know if he's guilty. Because he is dead. A mob chased him down and beat him to death in the street. They left his body, smashed to ruins, sitting in the street. He wasn't given any chance to defend himself.
Ignoring trollguy who thinks 'feminist' is a pejorative, how can you in any way condone this? Please explain your reasoning.
She also can't pluralise 'woman'.
I read the story. I read a story about someone who was murdered for an alleged crime with no trial. You and others are advocating that murder on the strength of one guy who didn't want to be named saying "He did stuff like that". Maybe he did. If so, he deserves to be given the harshest punishment possible by law. But…
If you are ever accused of a crime and are murdered without a means to defend yourself by a lynch mob in the street like an animal, I'll feel sorry for you.
Some guy who didn't want to be named claimed that this guy robbed people and did 'other stuff' in the same vein. So this person deserved to be murdered in the street by a lynch mob without formal charge or trial?
I'm sorry that a person was accused of a crime and brutally murdered by a lynch mob with no trial. IF he was a rapist, then he should have been tried, convicted, and sentenced to whatever the extent the law allows.
All hyperbole in this thread aside, I don't think you've thought through the repercussions of what you are suggesting.
I can't remember the last time I had a celebrity crush. She just seems like such a cool person...
