Aah yes, the “found car in a field 30 years after it last ran” demographic of the used car market that auto manufacturers should be tailoring their vehicle specs towards.

WALK

3 of my cars are throttle-by-wire, and if I’m being honest, I can’t tell.  There is a part of me that likes the simplicity of a cable, but there is no way I’d know that I have throttle-by-wire by the feel or function.

Mercedes has been selling basically the same thing with even MORE horsepower for lots more money for decades now. Only difference being the top doesn’t fold (unless you pay even more). And yes, the big motor G-wagens handle fairly terribly - nobody cares.

“It just will likely never translate to a sale to anyone who actually goes off-road in these often,”

He clearly didn’t follow load strapping 101:

No, you’re the worst.  Just because people don’t agree with you and have different viewpoints doesn’t mean you’re right.  Because you’re not.  You’re going to have to adopt electric vehicles at some point, so you might as well just accept your fate and quit bitching.  RADwood.

It doesn’t by itself, phase 2 is adding a slide in truck camper. The motorhome needs maintenance, insurance, registration, etc. and it just sits 90% of the time until we take a road trip. A truck camper doesn’t need any of that.

I would love to see the new Mach-E ad campaign include your glowing endorsement.

Oh wow, you showed up right on cue.

Let’s go ahead and get this one out of the way in case any fanbois show up.

It’s an 80's Hollywood take on what a 2020 truck would look like.

Also, despite what the internet fanboys will tell you, every car on the market has its little nasty quirks, the Sonic included.”

Was going to say, that’s not how it works, that’s not how it works at all. IRS reimbursement rate can’t even be applied in this situation, it’s irrelevent.

It’s one streaming service, Michael. How much can it cost? Eight dollars?

The top review.

While I want this, I have two thoughts:

1. Seems expensive.
2. Seems unsafe.

Every single car does this automatically. It’s how defroster settings work.
