One of those Eagles is now a Lemons race car.  I know because I race it, and it was street legal at the time (and may still be...I do not own it)

Am engineer. Can confirm.

The part you’re talking about is, I believe, only on first gens and is right between the rear wheels.  Most likely it’s a harshness tuning device (having had both first and second gen speed3s I don’t know how much good it was doing) rather than a ballast - the more effective way is to put it as far from the axle as

I did the same but with a very different vehicle. I was looking in the middle of last year though when nothing was moving. Found a manual Gladiator Rubicon soft top with only the tow package, no other “features” above the base rubicon trim, on a lot local to me.

I had to put a new (not new-new, but new to me) engine in my Mazaspeed3 last year, it’s a 2010 so 10 years old. Luckily I have connections, had a good block to sell back, and could do the work myself so it was worth it in the sense I had a refreshed drivetrain for a couple grand.  But if I had to buy a factory new

I once knew a guy that money shifted 3-2 in an MS6, overspun and blew the entire engine up. That car had been through hell with a previous owner (built engine was done wrong, made it less than 100 miles before he bought a new factory engine) and the end was, unfortunately, fitting.

A few years back I needed some parts for my car and found a guy parting out one in the same color. He had been trying to sell the car for a while (heavily modified) and finally found a buyer, took it to get gas for a test drive and was rear ended and pushed over a curb, mashed the back end of the car and a lot of the

2 of them stand at over a million total, I figure a few are under 100k. But given the age of the fleet and a couple of hints I’m going to make the first guess of 3,000,000.  It’s a lot, I’m probably over, but that’s my guess.

Do it. I love my gladiator.

It’s the only combination of the 2. And as far as compromises go it’s the best one I’ve ever made

Worst part has to be the shoes...racing shoes are awful when you’re not using them to drive

Last June I was looking for something new and had told myself I needed a truck for my next vehicle. I don’t haul stuff all the time but I do a lot of house projects, car projects, dump runs...and I was tired of loading nasty crap into my car. Did it for years.

Oh god I had the same idea as Raph.... (except mine was the wagon)

Yes and no. “Technically” the limit is $500 but whether that’s an actual $500 or a perceived $500 is up to the judges. If they want to see a certain car run they will allow it whether you meet budget or not. You can bribe your way down, you can actually hit the budget by getting a more expensive car and selling off

In my case it was a semi truck.

You can burn through a lot of witches with pipes like that

A 1962 valiant just won IOE at Lemons NCM this past weekend.  Very cool car, cooler to see somebody decide it needs to be a race car.

The rest of it does too

That is not a safe cage. I’m on a Lemons team, we built our own cage, and none of this would pass tech. They would laugh you right out of the race for this cage “design”.

There is a third kind, which is most of the engineers I know (I’m an engineer, I know a lot of them), who are under the gun to get ANYTHING out because customers are waiting or someone is complaining about the smallest of issues or manufacturing needs something....
