Because outside of wanting this one specific vehicle they are both American small trucks with 4cyl engines, manual transmissions, choice of RWD or 4WD, and available for apparently about the same price. It’s rife for comparison. If you’re looking for a small truck to use the newer one makes more sense at this price…
So it’s the first part that I mentioned, someone wants this truck in particular.
Why not compare them? Unless you have a love for LUVs $11k is a laughable amount to ask for a 1980 truck that’s either sat most of its life or driven way more miles than advertised that is rusting, dented, and has a dash held together by the defrost bezel. By comparison another small truck, substantially newer, can…
Heavy eye liner is never the right answer
CP. If the 15k miles is true and not an odo rollover it lived a very rough short life. If it is a rollover....well, longer life but still rough. $11k? Nah, I can buy a 30 year newer ranger for that
Reluctant NP. Not for me, but for someone.
Scrolled straight to the end hoping for a positive outcome...guess I’ll go back and read the article now
I tend to agree with libertarians on social issues but cannot ever vote for one because their fiscal policies are useless. No taxes! Sure, except that money pays for things that people need.
My family has a house about 15 miles south of Franklin. If you fancy some good craft beer get out to Currahee brewing and have a drink by the river, it’s a fantastic place to relax. Lazy hiker also makes great beers but the location is not as scenic
Do you have the new 40V version?
Beam fan here. RainX is the only set of wipers that seem to last more than 4 months on my car, Bosch and Tricos have been garbage IME. I’ll snag a new set every 18 months, it’s cheap maintenance on a car where I spend that much on 4 plugs
I don’t remember what color I saw, it wasn’t black though. I think it was white or silver (it was a very gray rainy day and I only saw it in passing) but it looked like a rolling hump, pulled and squeezed in all the wrong ways
I think the S is a good looking car. Subtle in all the right ways. The rest get worse and look like rolling jelly beans
“need” is an interesting word to define. Most cars do not need a lot of power, but there are many factors at play as to why they have so much. It sounds like you’re in the EU where high power cars are not the norm so you’re not used to it, but in Americaland the history is very different and expectations are as well.
If you think this is ugly wait until you see the model Y....take how the 3 looks like a ball compared to the S and combine it with how the X looks like even more of a ball compared to the S. The proportions are SO BADLY OFF it’s almost nauseating. Tesla is headed to the round blob people movers of the future we were…
That 9s 1/4 time is great until you get to the track, run once, then are kicked out because you don’t have a cage, chute, fire suit, or NHRA license
Ford may only make one car anymore but damn do they make it almost perfect.
I’ve never been a chevy truck fan....just not a fan of the designs really. But a ‘69 fleet side could slide into my garage any day, it is absolute perfection in truck form.
This is a dog picture article now. bonus for cars
