clip that goes from her harness to the seat buckle, and sometimes we put a blanket down. The clip keeps her from jumping into the front seat (she’s a 35lb lap dog) and in the case of an accident she will be mildly retained. Always clipped to a harness, not her collar.

How is the sealing when you’re windshield+ deep in water?

Like I said, that’s the only thing most people care about or will ever use or notice.

a 30% bump in power (and more torque from the K series engines) will more than offset a few hundred pounds. I get what you’re saying, and if I were looking for a car purely to drive hard this one has a better suspension design and less weight (and fewer nannies to defeat) but for the vast majority all they will know

Sure there are lots of factors, and yes this has a better suspension design from a pure handling perspective, and lower weight, but for the vast majority of people the extra power is the only thing they will notice and even with a new car’s added weight and less-than-ideal strut suspension it will accelerate harder

45 hp is A LOT when it’s 30% more. Tune a car from 240 hp to 275 hp and it’s very noticeable, 160 to 205? Massive leap.

They’re trying so, so hard to chase Jeep at this point.

My wife and I do this. I ask her about her day knowing full well most of the acronyms she uses as words mean nothing to me, and I still don’t know what “othering” means....in exchange I can ramble on about car things she doesn’t understand until I finally run out of details about the development of the ‘92 ZR1 engine

This is the car the hated middle manager is driving in an ‘80s sitcom, right? It wants to be a high end cruiser but just doesn’t stand up to the Germans. Like the manager it thinks it is big man on the block when really it’s just a replaceable prop.
