I go for the “don’t use them at all” angle. I haven’t found an olive I like yet.

I’ve never been a C4 fan but I understand them more as time goes on. NP for this one
My TJ rubicon on 33s did 13 and was nowhere near muscle-y. It was a stupid little thing but I miss it some days. The Gladiator is better in every way (except breakover, departure, and payment)
Yeah, and from what I’ve seen I’m not an outlier. I have a manual soft top rubicon and my only long highway drives have been with the top back which is notably not good for mpgs in these. On slower roads (~60mph) I see it higher but not by a ton. It is not an aerodynamic vehicle.
I feel fine about the whole thing. I’m not going to be upset driving a truck I truly enjoy because it doesn’t get 2mpg better than it does.
Yeah, because I can’t take the top off a raptor without voiding the warranty
Makes me feel better about getting 17-18hwy in my Gladiator
We might see real-world single digits on the street
That 3.8 is an absolutely hated engine in Jeep world and the hardcores LOOOOVVVVEEEE a diesel.
I read the headline and thought it could be a good deal....then I read the rest
Drop Texas, Vegas, and Atlanta. Martinsville and Rockingham are relics of the past and I would push them for more road racing but I understand why they are kept
No turbos
I’m an engineer, I can envision pretty much anything
I’m guessing that picture is not an accurate representation of the setup of this exact car
I was almost never crossing a line just getting close to it - and again these are very narrow roads to being close to a line is inevitable. You can think I’m a shitty driver, doesn’t matter to me, but I can stay in my lane just fine without any of these assist features
Oh it did that too. Parking close to a bush? BEEP BEEP BEEP. Driving next to a wall? BEEP BEEP BEEP. Someone within 100 feet of the reverse sensor? BEEP BEEP BEEP
On an average mileage of 12,000/year you will die once in a car crash every 8,333 years.
When I had lane assist in a car in Europe I found myself fighting it about 95% more than it was useful. If I got too close to a line it would try to pull me back, but on those tiny back roads it was near impossible not to be too close to one line or the other for its sensors. I just turned it off and, you know,…
How may crashes are there per 100 million miles? Without context of death rate in accidents the numbers don’t mean much for car safety.
I want to see how much worse it is than a standard delivery truck. Probably not much
