Very nice.  Once that technology has expanded I think we will see a bigger uptick in EV take rate.  The technology needs to be in all EVs, not just Teslas, and there needs to be more availability, but I fully believe we will get there in the near future.

The reason ICE cars work is because so many of the little things have been standardized. All of them are filled with the same gas nozzle at the same fill rate. Larger tanks take longer but that’s only by a few minutes at most. The infrastructure, however flawed, is ubiquitous. If one pump at a station is down there

This brings us back to the car-as-a-subscription model though.  The leaf would be an ideal version of a commuter car but after 5 years that 85 mile range turns to 60 turns to 40 when its cold out.  Given the simplicity of a BEV from a mechanical standpoint the batteries are going to be the letdown.  10 years into its

A few years back I drove from Raleigh to Philly for car parts. My destination was just outside Philadelphia and I spent, at most, 2 hours there before driving home.

I’ve had a few.  There’s a local brewery that only does lagers and they make a good number of IPLs.  I find them to be hit or miss but not bad overall, more on the flavors.  I think in general the crispness of lagering does not always play nicely with heavy hopping and the hop profile becomes more important but it’s

My last 8 hour trip I stopped twice, would have been once but I needed gas about 20 miles from home.

Fuck off, I wasn’t being negative I was being realistic.  I don’t hate EVs but I also can’t justify one for my life.  I believe the infrastructure will be there in time but that time is not now.

I’ve driven over 8 hours in a day many times, twice 15-16 hours.

This works at bars too.  If there’s a line and I don’t want to wait just to close a tab I leave (assuming they aren’t holding a card) and they tip automatically, usually less than I would have given.  If that’s the amount they are happy with I’m happy to give it.

I’m on the east coast and there’s still variety but everyone has at least one NE IPA, most have 2-3, and some have half a list or more. I won’t order them, I have not found one I like and I’m not here to keep trying.

If I wanted alcoholic orange juice I would say home and make mimosas.

I seem to be in the minority that does not like NE IPAs. They are too sweet and too heavy for my taste....it’s hard to find a good west coast outside the staples anymore.

A lot of pergolas will have slats on top to create a shade, mine currently does not but I can change that at any time. They can also be constructed with a lattice wall to allow climbing vines a home but I will not be doing this - it is impractical in this location.

It is truly the most puzzling of the lot.  It showed up, he did a bunch of nonsensical things, then it left to somewhere that apparently is easily accessible but no one cares about.  It needs its own spinoff story

BUT!

Now we need to figure out how long the fan-propeller battery will last spinning the fan at full speed without being charged.

Maybe, I’m not well versed in white supremacist culture and didn’t want to look it up

This fool just bragged on tv about being able to remember 5 words.
