My bank account hurts reading that.

I’m not interested in owning cars I don’t like. And I don’t like civics, type r or otherwise. Just never been my thing.
I’m sure I would, but the same money got me 12" of ground clearance, 33s, lockers, a 5' bed, 1700lbs payload, a hitch, a removable top, and kept the 6spd manual. Fast? Nah, but I have a car for that.
I had an ‘07 for 4 years before I got the ‘10. IMO the ‘10 is a better car even if the 2 are very similar. I agree somewhat on the looks, but I’m okay in my little happy hatch. Plus functional hood scoop.
2010 Mazdaspeed3. It’s raw and rough, it vibrates and is noisy and compared to newer vehicles the clutch and steering are heavy, the shifter is notchy, and I have upgraded the suspension to be firmer all around. It is also fantastically fun, power on demand, point-and-shoot handling only beaten by much more expensive…
It’s okay, Ivanka said they can just retrain for another job. Easy peasy.
This.
That’s like, 10 years away
Wait until you see them side by side, it will look like an enormously bloated version.
I want to sit in one and see what the greenhouse is like in real life. I’ll give a lot of credit to Jeep, the Wranglers are much easeier to see out of than most new vehicles (even if the side mirrors are awful). The Bronco looks decent but the notch up makes the rear windows noticeably shorter
Which is in line with the cost of new cars, which has not really increased relative to inflation despite the increase in technology included.
Expecting anything different is a waste of thought. Of course someone who has been given everything doesn’t understand working for anything
So a 5 year old porsche for less than the cost of a new rav4. I don’t see the problem
That’s also cherry picking the most expensive trim level of a luxury brand.
My wife has always wanted a Jeep. We need a truck far more than a Wrangler. When I told her the only way to get the options I wanted was to buy a Gladiator Rubicon she did not care. She didn’t ask the price just trusts that I know I can afford it if I sign the papers.
I just wanted to brag about our enormous ovens, I know there is a practical limit to heat output. I only ever go high power on my stove when trying to get a pot of water boiling, cooking is always fluctuating between med-low and med (stir frys excluded)
Only 20k? That’s nothing. My tiny grill does 30k.
Arguably the absolute best of the 4.0s. The ‘05-’06 with the OPDA issues...not hard to solve but will destroy your engine if you don’t. I would love an ‘04 TJR but for now will live with my pentastar gladiator (which, adimittedly, is better in every way except breakover angle)
It’s going down with the diesel due to weight. So a more expensive engine that can* tow less
This exists in a weird space where it has a lot of great features but all the tech is too old to feel in any way modern. I almost think something like an E34 without the screen and phone would feel like a classier car with “old school” features, and I would be more willing to buy it.
