There is some pushback by certain companies against the broad law enforcement language in some of the kill switch bills. BART's shutdown of cellphone service 08/11/11 is pretty much Exhibit A. I've noticed my local eco-friendly drycleaners in NY and Chicago tend to be more gender neutral in the pricing.
