Sergio should take Gettelfinger to a school playground and retort with "Why don't you tell these kids and their parents your union took government money that one day could have paid for their higher education?"

They can't make a Corolla because all their money went to funding the neverending demands of a union that eventually ruined an entire industry that America once ruled with an iron fist.

@Whitetrashsteve: I think this one went through '91. And I do agree that the replacement was a much better looking car with a much more powerful engine.

@OOglebooze: Yeah, there isn't a lot of model definition there anymore. At least in the 70s you could tell them apart by the ridiculous paint colors and the garish interior choices.

How there is no mention of the redneck dive bar she was coming home from at 3am is beyond me.

I had one of these bad boys back in the day. In college, this thing got a lot of use at the Burlingame Drive-In Theatre. There was plenty of room in the back with the seats folded down for all sorts of fun...

You're killing me....my best friend drives one of these. However, he still hasn't been able to explain why he bought it, either.

I see a couple of Caddy 500s in this photo....to me, car abuse is not driving those things regularly and showing some ass clown in a rice rocket Civic what pulling away from the line really means.

When I worked retail, the one thing I learned was that the customer was always stupid.

@worthless_cos: Yeah, I saw them unload the Packard. I wonder if they're still sitting on that Plymouth they paid $5k for that was worth $2k?

@TheAntiCat: Scary, isn't it? Loaded to the gills, with all 4 options available, will set you back about $65k, which is about what you'd spend on a new CTS-V, coupe or sedan. No wonder GM is in the crapper...

The Caddy 8-6-4

The only car that should be wearing the "Brougham" moniker is a Cadillac. In fact, I'm surprised it hasn't happened with the DTS already....

Nice! I guess my 28 lap prediction was unwarranted. Then again, given my luck in Vegas, this isn't all that surprising.
