What about services like PayPal who only offer SMS? Surely it'd be better to have it active than not?

So, the last one is pretty much the only one I can understand (the one about regular updates).

Thank you! I remembered that article, but couldn't find it. I appreciate the link!

Honest question, but are the Amazon apps still behind when it comes to updates from the developers?

Wait wait wait... they're limiting the moments to 5 / month? Dang it, now I gotta switch apps. I used that a ton. :(

I understand the reasoning... they need funds. And I understand that, but I really don't like the monthly subscription model. I prefer the older model of pay once, and it's yours. I'd pay more for a one

Wait... so if it's free, how do they make money? Please tell me it's ads inside the app, otherwise I'm really suspicious.

Interesting. I'm guessing this doesn't apply to those just stored on my computer, and not in any online cloud options?

Everyone said the same about Vista and Windows 7. Getting away from the bad publicity of Windows 8 was a smart move on their part, in my opinion. Not sure why they didn't do Windows 9, though.

Is there a download link?

Why isn't this update done through the app store? I know they said that it's only for advanced users... but surely it wouldn't hurt to update everyone, not just those who go looking for it?

I'm not sure if you meant to reply to me, but I never mentioned bending in my post. Or drops.

"All that other stuff is mostly irrelevant"

I wouldn't throw everything else away so quickly. The main reason I stick with Android is because of "the other stuff". It allows me to do what I want to do with my phone. For example, I recently implemented a Tasker profile that unlocked my phone when it detected my FitBit

Interesting. There was an update for Chrome this morning for me... maybe it fixed some things? Have you tried it with the update yet?

Sure! I made that jump too, looking at the title. :)

Android has had this for awhile. This isn't chrome extensions, like you have on the desktop, but rather integrating apps with web browsers.

Good point. I completely agree.

I meant that it "works" in the light of you can select it from the menu, and it does the function it was designed to do. I don't think we'll be able to see the kind of integration I have in my Android phone, but like you said: It's a step in the right direction.

Even if there is, you'd have to download the app store to download the app, anyways.

I'd say.... late 2011. Maybe.

It's been with Android for awhile, it's just not called "extensions". It's called "share".

LastPass works with Chrome. They even have it in the screenshot, but I was using LastPass and Chrome just the other day.
