This looks cool and it’s in Gamepass so I am total down to try it
Cavill plays 40k and builds PCs - that dude doesn’t have any spare money to invest in NFTs!
I don’t ask for much, universe, but please: Keep Cavill away from NFTs.

Don’t be a Dick
Isn’t “Crypto Scheme” redundant?
Can we settle on a style guide standard whereby we never call these stupid influencers by their handles after the initial introduction? Writing an entire article about the beef between “Ice Poseidon” and “Coffeezilla” and continuing to use those absurd names throughout, just proves that we’re truly in the dumbest…
“Bungie’s technical expertise, coupled with their track record of building highly engaged communities, make them a natural fit for collaboration with PlayStation Studios,” said Herman Hulst, head of PlayStation Studios. “We are excited to make plans to share skills and expertise, and to unlock the potential in having…
What I don’t understand is why they think Sony is going to be a more benevolent task master than Microsoft was. Congrats, you went from producing Halo over and over again to making Destiny over and over again. Not exactly a huge win... except for the owners of Bungie, who I presume made a killing.
The studios are worth more if the IPs remain multi platform. The incentive for exclusives driving console purchases is somewhat irrelevant.
No. Sounds like they want Bungie’s software development tools. They have a ton of proprietary tech that goes into D2, especially on the server side. They mention it prominently in the press release. Big gain on the backside for their other studios.
I haven’t the faintest idea why Sony wants Bungie, aside from the fact they might be still smarting that their attempts to have a 1st-party FPS (that also functioned as a console-mover) on par with Halo never really took off (even though the Killzone games were rather good).
Also, Bungie seems really overpriced for a…
I think both will come down to more “first on” or “better on” said platform than full on exclusives.
Every time I read news like this I am scared we are going to some horrible dystopian future where all games are made by only 2 or 3 companies. Combine this with stream services of games like Stadia, and you would have something not very different than TV, where at each time everyone is limited to the same 100…
Most of you are probably too young to get this, but to me this sounds like one of those ActiVision Value titles that you’d see at the local Walmart (in the boxed games section!) and it’s like ten bucks. I mean, this is pretty much that right? Like, why is this getting so much press?
Whoa, good job there kotaku, almost made me bothered enough to type out some well thought out comment in a reply to this article until I remembered this is all a parody, right? Right?
You don’t have to explain the genre to me, I loved SWAT 3 and 4 and know what these games are... that’s why I said there’s merit for these games, and a liberal argument for them is that they teach proper, professional police work and how it should be done. They also humanize police officers and is a tool for empathy…
Lol, you people are hilarious. You’re so soft and whiny, you cant even accept people for having different opinions. I have no issues with a “controversial" video game, so I’m instantly racist. My god, how has this country survived?
I knew something felt off when in the trailer a SWAT officer cuffed someone and then punched him if I recall correctly.
These impressions weren’t written so much as ejaculated
