Ah, here we go, the classic blame the poor for being lazy. If it was as simple as “get a job for less money to make ends meet” then it would be a pretty easy problem to solve, wouldn’t it? Doesn’t seem to be the case, though. Can you think of some reasons why that might not be the greatest advice?

That still doesn't solve the issue of how they became homeless in the first part. Mental health and addiction are a huge part of the homeless problem, and until we take solving those issues seriously, free housing isn't going to solve much.

Sorry but I disagree 1000%. Trump is the absolute worst president the country has had and the single biggest threat we’ve had since WW2. And I say this with a 98 year old Grandmother who very much compares the man to Hitler. She should know: Her husband and my Grandad had to go off to Europe to take care of that some

To be fair Santa, if that is your real name! Its not the first physco president we've had. Jackson enjoyed dueling, Roosevelt kept a bear at the white house, Nixon was paranoid of everything, LBJ liked to whip his dick out at women, need I go on. But back then the parties put Country over Politics. Now? Nope. Even

This makes me so fucking angry. There is literally enough money to just give a house to almost every single homeless person in this country, but we won’t do that because then they won’t have “earned” it. Nobody should have to “earn” the right to just fucking live in a basic amount of comfort. I’m not saying they need

This is the fundamental argument of the right wing right now:

No country should be overrun by a lunatic. But we did. So there’s the reason why we’re in the place we’re in right now.

I’m sorry but what enthusiast wants to buy a car with the least powerful engine?

See my 3rd point. I was new car shopping in 2018-2019. I couldn’t find a 6MT Accord to drive within 500 miles. I’m not buying a car without experiencing first (I’m sure the new 2020 version of Jalopnik will throw flak at me for that too). I ended up buy a 6MT Golf SportWagen becuase I found one close, got to experience

Problem with this conspiracy theory is plenty of automakers did it the right way, and people still didn’t bite. Infiniti couldn’t justify bringing the manual back with the Q50. BMW offered the 6MT on the 340i AND xi..... no dice. Audi kept hope alive with the S4. Again, no takers. What makes you think things would

I was willing to deal with their 2.0T, but no leather, no sunroof, and a few other luxury features (some of which are available on Corollas and Civics) were not available on the manual. I honestly don’t know why they even offered it. Sticking with my old ATS 2.0T 6MT for the foreseeable future, unfortunately.

Idiotic Genesis. There were only dozens of us interested because YOU DIDNT GIVE THE TOP TRIM / ENGINE THE MANUAL. Only the base model got the manual. The poverty spec. THAT is why only dozens were interested. You COULD have had a 335 or S4 rival and it could have been really something, perhaps a big sales success.

It’s a textbook OE play. Offer the MT, but not in all trims or with all engines (and normally only with the shittier of the choices). No one buys it. Then shrug shoulders and say - well that take rate is terrible, that was dumb, we won’t do that again.

Couldn’t Agree more. We should have a party and dance on the Grave of the Jeep Compass, regardless of form.

the V6 6MT accord was quietly more powerful than the 2.0T as well.

I could go for this; manually-shifted Hondas are a true joy.

Reading this made me a bit sad. I have found memories of the V6 6MT Accord Coupe my mom had when I was in highschool, and there may be a day when I need a family sedan. It’s a bummer the 6MT Accord won’t be an option.

If you can spend that much money on an E30, you don’t buy this OR that. You buy this AND that.
