It’s an indictment of our society that the media didn’t think this was worth covering. Imagine if this was about dozens of white women? All lives clearly don’t matter.

18...out of 36. Don’t get me wrong I’m glad he’s been found guilty at all. I had my doubts the jury would do the right thing . I know there’s some nuance here about why he was found guilty of only half of his charges that I’m probably missing. I just would’ve preferred to hear “guilty on ALL counts”. Still, watching

Watching that monster cry and shake was the closest thing to any kind of justice I’ve felt in a long while. Fuck him and may the brave women who shared their stories find peace.

Seeing people who have callously committed horrific acts on other people start to cry when forced to take (some) responsibility for their conduct always makes me hate them even more.

If you had actually listened to her music, and with an open mind, you wouldn’t be copping so much negativity. She’s incredibly talented, and creating art according to her own vision vs. letting other people define her.

Yikes dude. She’s brilliant, she’s driven, she’s ferocious, she’s entrepreneurial, she’s creative and you’re gonna cut her down with ‘insufferably pretentious’? Can we just let chicks be chicks without trying to hem them in somehow?

After going to Art School (home of pretentiousness). I can guarentee you she is not. If she was going to my school when I went, she would have been a breath of fresh air. She just likes what she likes and gives no fucks about it.

I don’t think she’s pretentious or means to come off that way. I think she’s just a huge dork (I mean that in a nice way lol). She kind of reminds me of my pal who is REALLY into cosplay and is kind of socially awkward and even a little sheltered about certain things (like she had super weird parents and wasn’t

Is.

and that fixes what? i’m black, but i know there are many examples of corrupt and racist black politicians as well. i think the problem that needs to be addressed is more intricate than changing the color of the mayor. but, i am just speculating.

I’m glad she educated herself on this. Being wrong once is never the problem; many people choose to stay wrong forever.

Very nice! And a good lesson to white feminists who do not want to be White Feminists.

This is what she said in the press room after:

I always respected that Emilio didn’t change his name to ride his fathers coattails like his brother, and that he didn’t view his own birth name as a hindrance in Hollywood.

Ah, but the critical question is: when did he become radicalized? and by who?

Eh, I’m getting laid off next week. If my boss did that to me today I’d’ve said this:

ok, off topic but im like reeling.

Because of course Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia would say that black students should just go to shitty schools. Of course he would.

Why can’t someone run him over with a car? In 1970?

Man. It’d be really terrifying if this man was like 11% of the highest judicial arbitrative body in the nation.
