Is? He’s still alive? I guess I have some googling to do.

She’s referring to the cab driver she writes about in the book.
I think I’d actually get a kick out of thirsty Snowden fans
One good thing I’ll say is that the only reason I even know about Fassbender and Hamm (didn’t know about Gosling) is from reading the comments here on Jez. Like others have mentioned however, I don’t think Brown has gotten a pass. Guess I have some Gosling googling to do...
Across sidewalks? In fall?! Where do you live? That sounds terrifying.
One of the times I had jury duty I was one of the last people to be dismissed. They made the open arguments before even dismissing most of the people and after dismissing like 50 people who had been called and two full days the final people chosen were extremely worrisome. It was a trial about domestic violence and…
Well most people do but as soon as something starts making money and gets mainstream exposure it’s rebranded, they come up with a new genre that’s meaningless so they can sell it to the masses. I honestly have no idea why they brand shit the way they do in the States. I’ve been into DnB since I was a kid and there’s…
I think it’s mostly used by radio, in articles and so on. I’ve heard people use the term in everyday speech, but mostly in reference to top 40 (Alesso, new Calvin Harris etc.) Bit yeah, that shit is dumb.
Is that pretty recent? I lived in Melbourne in 08/09 and it seemed like a lot of people went to see live music. The price to see a local band was the same as what you would pay to see a well know band on tour in the States, so even though you get payed better there I still found it expensive.
I think non-residents can only buy a quarter at a time but you can carry an ounce on you, which shouldn’t be any different for a non-resident. Also residents with a medical card can buy more than an ounce at a time and the price is cheaper.
it’s definitely not the midwest, although east of Denver should probably be considered the midwest.
Honestly I think it’s only in the States/counties without hippos where they’re considered cute or not scary af. Also in her other tweets she keeps referring to her trip to “Africa”. It’s fucking 2015 and people are still referring to Africa as a country. Can people just please just stop with that shit.
They have in-n-out in Texas?! That’s messed up, they don’t even have it in Colorado or New Mexico yet but they take it to Texas. That’s so wrong.
Had never seen that before and I was thinking, how the fuck did I not know this existed. E really gave a kid who stole stuff from celebs a show? That’s fucked up. But also entertaining...
Yes! She was my junior high girl crush. The Craft, Nowhere and Half Baked were some of my main rewatches in those days.
Yup, when I worked retail basically no one wanted to get dollar coins as change. I assume that’s why we’re the only country I can think of that still uses bill form for only one dollar/euro/pound etc.
Mt hatred for that band that sings “With Arms Wide Open” with the super right-wing singer who went mental, is strong. The singer also sounded like he trying to imitate Eddie Vedder so I can no longer listen to Pearl Jam or Vedder’s voice.
I can’t think of any other actor who’s been in four shows that have been extremely popular and culturally significant (not necessarily while they were airing).
I feel like you’ve talking about a couple you know in real life...
I went the other extreme as a kid, I refused to walk on or touch blacktop because I was convinced it would stick to me. Kids in general do stupid stuff no matter where they live, we’re just lucky nothing we did actually ever killed us. The mosquito spray guy was messed though.
