I guess it's time for me to finally try Metal Gear.

Yes, any opinion about anything is subjective by definition.

Monopoly, Risk and Candyland are like the Wii Sports of board games. They are popular and accessible, but they a far from the best examples of what the medium has to offer.

I'm soooooo excited about this, but I can't help but notice that the trailer was very combat-heavy.

I am all for value, but doesn't quality of gameplay matter? Open world games typically gobble up hours, but a lot of that time is spent just getting between places, whereas Mirror's Edge is solid action.

That was my suspicion. If they actually wanted to get serious about gaming in the living room, I would think they would have to put iOS directly on an upgraded AppleTV.

Have you used AirPlay mirroring? Does it work well enough for gaming?

Yeah, notifying the public about something is a waste. They should get back to news. Oh wait...

I think you may be misunderstanding the term "privilege". The term does not refer to how successful a person is able to be, it refers to cultural benefits that someone has by virtue of a characteristic they have, in this case being heterosexual.

It's less of a big deal than it used to be (thankfully), but it is still a big deal.

You say "I just want to buy a video game and play it, whenever and however I want".

Question 1: 1 Week. That gives enough time for things like moving, server crashes, or waiting for the cable company to send a technician to fix something.

I've been scouring the comments hoping someone mentioned what that game was. Thanks!

I'm really hoping that Sony announces that they'll make the entire PS3 library available to play on the Vita. As long as they keep the prices of old games down (similar to the Amazon prices of $20-30), I would scoop up the Vita in a heartbeat.

If by "taking the easy way out", you mean they are going to the platform with more hardware and software consistency, less piracy, and a consumer base which spends for more money, then yes, they are taking the easy way out.

Or, if people give you $160,000 to make something, you make exactly what you promised, which is exactly what she did.

I don't think it's fair to outright assume that all criticisms are simply resistant to change.

While I think it's great that you consider yourself a feminist and support equal rights, what exactly is shit-tier feminism?

I think the underlying assumption is that if it were a man, it would not be hyper-sexualized. It would just look like a normal zombie, which would be less disturbing because it would lack the sexual fetishation.

If it was a man or woman stylized to look like a regular zombie rather than a sexualized fetish, then yes, it would be less offensive.
