@John: It looks like nerf armor. I used to have this case on my DS lite. It's looked stupid, but it made long play sessions way more comfortable.

I think this is just a symptom of the larger problem, which is that the general populace still considers video games to be toys for kids. Obviously all of these systems have parental controls, but it doesn't even occur to parents to use them because they don't even realize that much of the content is intended for

@2NinjasTapedTogether: I'd pay a decent amount too, they never got the sales to reflect how awesome the game is. Now I just have to cross my fingers that Doublefine will make an HD Psychonauts.

@xsbs: If this was truly their temporary solution until they come up with something better, then it should be a lot more convenient. They are asking people to send in their SD card with snail mail, meaning they will have to wait at least a week to get it back, along with any other data they have on it, and that's

@fillerbunny9: It's a Nintendo franchise, Nintendo is the publisher, and they collaborated with Team Ninja from the beginning. They should be held to the same quality standards.

@Ender18: At PAX, I almost fell backwards on a guy while trying Kinect Adventures because their display area was barely big enough to play the game. I am not surprised that all the rooms in the commercials are enormous.

Honestly, if they absolutely can't patch the game remotely, then they should be having people sending in the game discs to be replaced with a new, patched game disc. Fixing one save file is a poor bandaid, especially for a company that likes to tout the quality of their first-party games.

@rockman_x_2002: Still, they should make the effort for one of their flagship franchises. Their solution of mailing in the SD card is absurd.

@battra92: Wow! I'll have to pick it up then.

@sksnyder: I played at PAX and almost fell over a guy who was sitting behind me because it makes you move backwards and forwards. I think people are going to need big living rooms to play this.

@battra92: Do you recommend Retro Game Challenge?

@ElephantFace: Really? Almost all my textbooks in college were $100, and now that my partner is in school, they are inching closer to $150. It's outrageous.

@Hanchen Lu: Thanks for those links! I spent $300 on my last pair of prescription sunglasses and that was with insurance. It's completely ridiculous. My regular glasses are about 4 years old and the paint has worn off parts of it but it's just too freaking expensive to get new ones.

@Hanchen Lu: While I agree that no review is entirely objective, this does not make a review criticism (as in literary critique and not just negative comments). In my mind, reviews are meant to rate media for its value to the consumer. I don't go to IGN or Gametrailers for scintillating commentary or intellectual

@anabbeynormality: Apparently that battle mode I was talking about is Wii-only, so that seems to be the version that will say most true to the classic.

@Warlord: That would be sweet, but I would be nervous about having my peripheral vision completely cut off from the real world while moving around. I would probably have some good wipe-outs from tripping on my furniture or running into walls.
