How do you know that? I don't think that's true. One is recessed, the other isn't.
I still wish they called it the "Super Wii". Throwback to the SNES. Late 80s/early 90s throwbacks/resurrections are really in right now, according to Hollywood.
"...take something great (shows Wii U console) and make it better (shows Wii U gamepad)! The Wii U gamepad..."
Still, $126 for 24 hours is less than minimum wage. Decent freelance artists and designers charge much more than that. Idk, maybe you can make a really really small game in a couple hours. It's not like there's any quality control in place.
But is the $7000 or even the $18000 really enough to make a game? It seems an order of magnitude lower than what I've seen from other Kickstarters. I suppose it could just be a smaller game. I noticed also that one of the rewards is a short game made just for you - for only $126. That seems crazy.
I have that gameboy micro. It's completely badass.
Well I'm no expert on the reliability of gyroscopes.
I'm sorry to hear that. I wouldn't say the controls are "intuitive" if you expect it to be much like picking up a sword. Like most games, it's a system you have to learn, and it's something you can get better at with practice. It's a lot like Wii sports in that way.
I'm scared to watch it because I think it will make me want to go to prison, the way The Office makes me want to work in an office or Avatar makes me wish I could airbend. I'm very impressionable.
I loved Skyward Sword and its motion controls. To me Nintendo achieved the dream with that game... the dream we all had as children: a game where you really feel like you're swinging a sword around.
I think they tried to push both Ponyo and Arrietty pretty hard. I remember seeing plenty of commercials on the Disney channel and trailers at the theater. And both played in the normal non-artsy theaters near me. As I said before though, I absolutely despised the way they marketed them. And I think they consider both…
Yeah Pixar has been highly disappointing lately. Sequel after sequel after sequel. And Brave was a bit of a mess (but recently I've been yearning to watch it again... maybe it will grow on me?)
The last Ghibli film, "From up on Poppy Hill", wasn't picked up by Disney. Some other studio did it. I haven't seen it yet but from the trailer it looked like they did a pretty good job.
Yeah I definitely did this as well, among other weird paper video game creations.
Remember this gamecube controller porn anyone???
Do you even play video games
Maybe it was an elaborate PR stunt.
"And oh, the big story that everyone's talking about is this system is the only one where you can still play used games," Fallon said.
it was just a free reward for club nintendo members for wii...
