I found just one of them on animalcrossingcommunity.com and we're planning on playing New Leaf together. I sort of have a lingering hope that the new release will make the others emerge from the shadows in the coming days and we'll all play together for the first time in 6 years. But that probably won't happen. We're

Online multiplayer. You can find people to play with here on Kotaku or other sites easily. It really is fun having friends to enjoy Animal Crossing with.

So when I (theoretical Xbox One user) go to the store to buy a game, how will I be able to tell if it has any resale value? Will it say on the box somewhere? It really makes a big difference in how much I expect the product to cost.

Ah good that's a relief. Then I guess I might go digital, just this once.

When I was in middle school, I had no friends. But I had Animal Crossing: Wild World. And I ran an AC:WW guild on Neopets. And through that guild I met other losers like myself and we played AC:WW online together every night. I would play secretly late into the night when I was supposed to be sleeping, standing

Why does everyone say the 8gb model is useless? I bought it because I wanted the white color to match my white Wii remotes. I prefer to buy physical games so I can trade them or lend them to friends when I'm done with them. And if for some reason I do need massive amounts of storage, I can plug in an external hard

I think the damsel in distress in the New Super Mario Bros. games is a bit sarcastic. They know that nobody plays Mario for the narrative, so it's like this joke at the beginning of the game where they say "Well Mario has to be running around for SOME reason". So they play this ridiculous 10-second opening cutscene

I recently purchased an old iMac G3 off craigslist and loaded up all these old games I missed out on or haven't played in years... Myst, the 7th Guest, the Oregon Trail, Cosmic Osmo, Carmen Sandiego, some others. The 7th guest seemed really cool but I didn't get very far into it before I had to leave the country. Has

Why on earth would he phrase it that way? He sounds like he's taking sides in console wars. Like he's invested in Nintendo's failure.

I thought Nintendo owned the simple plus-shaped D-pad and nobody else could use it - hence why Playstation's D-Pad is shaped like 4 triangles and 360's D-pad was shaped like a sickening mess. So what happened? Maybe Nintendo licensed out their D-pad to Microsoft. Maybe on the back it says COPYRIGHT NINTENDO.

2. Pokemon without buttons is conceivable, more so than Mario, but it's not a pleasant thought. Is there a single hit iOS game involves 2-dimensional movement for the main character (up-down-left-right)? I think not. Because it's a chore on a touchscreen.

1. Why on earth is the prospect of Zelda on PS4/Nextbox more exciting to you than Zelda on Wii U? I just... I have a feeling you're just imagining a gritty M-rated Zelda game.

Isn't it fun to imagine Nintendo and 3rd parties going back into old-school SNES or N64 developments? It's really a sad thing that consoles become obsolete, because there's still so much that can be done with a simple 16-bit console with two controllers. Why is the SNES a less viable product today than it was in 1991?

I've never really found the whole power race very interesting. I almost wish that Nintendo's next console was just, say, the Super Nintendo. Like, literally, they just start selling Super Nintendo's again and making brand new top-notch SNES games. Then nobody would say "Nintendo's next console is crap! It's not even

Hey I'm in Austria. I agree, it would make for a lovely Pokemon setting.
