The thing that always bugged me about Ever After was that everyone speaks in a (not-great) English accent, but it’s set in France.

I thought everyone knew that the SNES / Genesis were informally referred to as “Jenny” and “Sunny.”

The initial adaptation *was* really bad.

No Skies of Arcadia? C’mon.

It’s not much loved, and it was made with damn near zero budget, but there is a huge place in my heart for The Specials. It cemented my 18+ year crush on Judy Greer, it’s got great chemistry between a pre-Parks-and-Rec Rob Lowe and Jamie Kennedy (I’m surprised too), the rest of the main cast just rocks it.

Aw rats. I thought the original version was some wasted promise with occasional good laughs, but I was really enjoying the rebooted version. Hope the unaired eps wind up on Hulu in short order.

FWIW, I’ve long felt that the original short film version of D.E.B.S. works much better than the feature-length version.

It really kills me that the physical version of Bayonetta 1 & 2 runs $58 at the time of this writing, but buying both from the eShop runs over $110.
