I am reminded of the Satanic day care centers and evil D&D "indoctrination" scare of the '80's. I also bed money that this will be used as a bullshit argument to end net neutrality.

I have an aunt who can be very difficult for waitstaff. I have often apologized to them when she went to the restroom. One time, when she was being particularly demanding, I apologized in front of her. She always leaves a big tip, though, so waiters at her regular places put up with it.

I do, too. I know I've done things in the heat of the moment that I later regretted. Sometimes people just lose their cool. It can happen to anyone.

Thank you! I live in a small town with zero Vietnamese restaurants and sometimes I crave a bowl of pho or a banh mi so hard I can't stand it. And yet, we have dozens and dozens of Vietnamese owned nail salons, massage parlors, and nasty "Chinese" buffets. I just want to scream, "PLEASE open a pho/banh mi shop! Please

I am surprised she doesn't borrow from designers. I wonder why that is?

I used to love Old Navy jeans, but they took my size out of the stores, started jacking with the fabric, etc. I now swear by Levi's 590's. They come in plus sizes and can be found on the Levi's website. They frequently have sales, so keep an eye out. Also, they last FAR longer than Old Navy jeans ever did.

Yeah, the dresses they have aren't my style at all and I wouldn't choose one for myself, but it's clear that those dress makers are skilled as hell and the girls are always SO proud of their dresses. I hate to think how hurt they would be if they saw some of the comments about them online.

Well, I'm glad it's on a professional model. I honestly think it's mean-spirited to nominate regular people for something like this. In my mind, it's funnier if it's a professional fashion shoot, on a celebrity, or on a TV show.

I feel like it's ok to laugh if the picture is from a professional fashion show, worn by a celebrity, or on a TV show or movie. However, I REALLY find mocking regular people distasteful. A lot of the pictures here are mocking a culture (Gypsies) or people who clearly don't have a lot of money and/or are simply

I nominate this for the winner. It's stunningly tacky and completely unaware. I also think the winner should be a famous person.

This definitely wins the scroll down fug award. It was like, I was scrolling along and the top showed up and I didn't get why you put it here, then I got to the bottom and it's like OH DEAR GOD.

I concur. I find the Boo-boo family to be one of the least distasteful of all the reality TV families. I think people who don't like them have never actually watched the show.

I thought the "Healthy Grilling!" caption next to the plate of fried chicken was hilarious.

I am sorry you are so lonely. It sounds like you could really benefit from some cognitive behavioral therapy. Through CBT you can learn positive coping skills, interpersonal relationship skills, and social skills. Being shy and introverted does not prevent you from being able to form relationships, but bad

Yes, everyone deserves to be loved. Of course. The entitlement we are all talking about is what you said pretty well, "I deserve to be loved by these specific types of people, regardless of whether or not I am a match for those people and regardless of whether or not those people are attracted to me. I exist,

Great news about your father. So many people perish on waiting lists.

Oh man, I found the cutest dresses there recently for a wedding. You have to search, just like on the regular site.

Yes, this. My husband is an attorney and before he went into private practice he was a prosecutor (hey, you gotta start somewhere). He was always SO frustrated because juries now expect really expensive, high level, forensics evidence that is rarely seen in real court rooms. When it is seen, it is typically for very

HA! Where are those from??

Yes of course! The fugly knows no bounds in the plus size section!
