I know. I am so disappointed in this outcome.

I can't believe it, either. I was so certain weed would take this whole thing. I am so disappointed in my fellow Jezebelles.

I don't know. I have cousins who are extremely affluent and extremely Republican and often say hateful shit about poor people. What gets my goat is that they came from a family who is extremely successful, their parents sent them to really good schools for college, and now the youngest has her own business that is

It seem like to me that huge portions of our population have been utterly brainwashed by Fox News and the like. This shit of blaming people for being poor has GOT to stop. I work issuing benefits, and people always ask me if I get sick of dealing with people who are "lazy and entitled." And the truth is, no. I don't.

It is! No one goes to the NFL without first playing college football.

And a very small percentage of baseball players on minor league teams make it to the majors. Your point? They are still working professional athletes. If they know they probably won't make it onto a professional team, they would still be able to go for a four year degree if they choose. We just wouldn't have to

HOOK 'EM!

This was why, if you read my post, I refer to ranked college football programs. We're talking about places like Ohio State, University of Texas, Alabama, etc. At the University of Texas, college football brings in a massive piece of funding pie but the players don't see any of it.

Part of me wishes they would just cut the crap once and for all and treat ranked college football programs as what they really are - junior professional football leagues staffed with unpaid professional working athletes. Just pay them a salary, treat them like the employees that they are, and cut the bullshit with the

If this comes down to weed vs. champagne, there will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Why did he love them? Why not just make a PB&J? (I have never understood Uncrustables.)

Me too and I'm in the 300's. I'm now stuck trying to advance to the next "episode" because fewer and fewer friends have kept playing and it's getting harder and harder to get people to send me tickets. (Like, I literally called up my best friend in the middle of the night once and was like, "Send me a ticket, bitch!")

Yes! Then friend me so you can send lives/tickets! JOIN UuuSSSS.

Jesus. That is major surgery and the results don't last forever. WTF is wrong with people. Also, good for you for skipping it.

You are in the minority of people it helped rather than hurt. I'm glad you learned something from it, but it still gave you some issues, though, if I'm reading your last line correctly. It's not ok to send kids to Weight Watchers.

Yes. It is very sad. I think it's good we talk about it, though. It's important that parents not give these kinds of messages to their kids. The more we educate, the better the world will become.

You need to be straight with her and tell her that it is not acceptable for her to talk about your size or weight in front of you. I know it's hard. But after repeated standing up to my mom (and everyone else), my size and what I eat or don't eat is no longer a conversation. It's very refreshing. I will also say that

My mom tried the dollar a pound thing, but I argued that if she wouldn't do the money for grades thing, isn't it hypocritical to do the dollar a pound thing? She tried to bribe me with clothes instead.

-hugs- I can not believe how many of us there are! It is complete bullshit and needs to stop!

Did you ever do the stewardess one? The one where you have black coffee and half a grapefruit in the morning, something non existent like cottage cheese and crackers for lunch, then a hamburger patty and canned green beans for dinner? That was the one that lead to my discovery of Pop Tarts in the school vending
