That makes me so fucking angry. SO. Fucking. ANGRY. I HATE these people. Hate them. I can not muster any good Christian forgiveness or empathy for them. I hate them purely and with a white hot fury. They are ruining lives and getting away with it.

Word. I am right there with you. I say - when you start trying to deny MY rights based on YOUR political and/or religious beliefs, you are open for any and all rancor I throw your way.

You sound like you read a lot of Ayn Rand.

See the comment by Milkshaker. It's cool and aspirational from an aesthetic perspective only. In reality, the 99% lived grim lives beholden to their aristocratic masters. I like to think, in the past 100 years, we have moved beyond that.

I was trying to point out that aspiring to that lifestyle is daft. Fox "news" thinks it's cool and aspirational. I do not. I watch the show, and enjoy the pretty scenery and costumes and manners, but I don't want to live there.

Doubtful.

Yes! Or, that when a woman gets married, she hands over her entire fortune to her husband for him to mismanage and lose! ARGH!

The difference, Fox, is that Downton Abbey takes place almost one hundred years ago and is therefore not something to be aspired toward! They are all just damn idiots over there, I just can't even cope with them most of the time. Gah.

They still had to do arrangements and such which are harder than it sounds like.

Yes. She cooks with no more butter, salt, sugar, or cream than any of those other chefs. Did Tony Bourdain even LOOK at his cookbook?? When did he get so damn sanctimonious? I'm convinced that if Paula were a man, or if she were a "hot" 20-something woman, no one would have the slightest issue with her style of

Of course. Notice how Jennifer Aniston's acting career has totally stalled, yet she pops up in the tabloids every single week. It's not because America can't get enough of Jennifer Aniston. It's because Jennifer Aniston can't get enough of the tabloids.

Ugh. That sounds horrific. I think the girl with the kid is trying to get the roommate to get fed up and move out so she won't have to find a place on her own.

My moms? Huh? I don't even know what this means...

Ugh. I get it now, but ugh, it just makes my skin crawl that much more.

Lol, yes. It's the same as when I look into my closet full of clothes and proclaim I have nothing to wear. One of the other posters suggested I make a fritatta thing out of the noodles. I think I'll do that.

Here's what I don't get about escorts - why would someone like that Brunei guy need to pay someone $10K just to party with him? If he's so rich and stuff shouldn't he be able to find girls to party with him FOR FREE?

It depends on the restaurant. One I worked at was really strict about never allowing, another would let us purchase raw product at cost if it was about to go bad, another let us take home whatever we wanted at the end of the shift, but that place had a buffet. If anyone from the restaurant brought leftovers and made

I am not surprised. Also, the corporate culture is very rah-rah.

I have heard of City Harvest and I think they are wonderful. Why does all the good stuff have to be only in New York, though? -sigh-

I know lots of people who have worked at WF, and they all relate this frustrating experience. For such a hippy-dippy facade, that company sure does have some strange policies.
