You watched the last two episodes of a three season show? Whaaaaaat, are you my mum? It’s not Seinfeld.

Famous playwright. Author of Bug and August: Osage County.

Carrie Coon or her husband? Because Carrie is the transcendent Nora Durst in “The Leftovers,” among other things.

Honestly, “I believe the women but $cientology is probably behind this” was the very first thought that came to my brain when I read the headlines on Haggis.

Someone else touched on this, but I have a feeling he knew by asking that way, he was going to get a brilliant response from her. I don’t think it was as “OH STUPID MAN QUESTION” as it’s being made out to be.

“Hey listen, the world is falling apart, what’s a lip?” Jane Fonda is a gift! I can’t wait for Grace & Frankie to return this week. So so good.

Intermittent fasting is definitely a thing. Whether it’s a thing beyond a potentially disordered attempt at weight loss is another question, but it’s definitely a thing.

Probably an unpopular opinion here, but by him asking the stupid question, Cowan here is the stand-in for the clueless male viewer - and thus elicits the clip-worthy (and meme-worthy) cackling response from Stone. Let’s face it: if the dumb question did not receive such a glorious reaction, we wouldn’t be reminded

Call it Sweater On Sweater and I’m in :)

I don’t believe anonymous reports that much, but I DO believe anyone who puts their name publicly to an accusation.

Yeah, this one is...tough.

I hate that this is what Scientology has done, made people immediately question these sorts of accusations, because from the moment this story came out, I questioned whether Scientology was behind it. I set the accusations aside for a moment and thought “but what if, “ and that’s basically because when they have been

That said, I fully believe the CoS would use this moment to smear their perceived enemies. They are above nothing.

I completely agree. We’re talking about an organization that, any time a former member speaks out against the church, will put up a website within the same week trying to destroy that person’s credibility in any way possible, often making totally baseless accusations of domestic abuse, incest, pedophilia, you name it.

‘That said, I fully believe the CoS would use this moment to smear their perceived enemies.’

In a very obvious “blind,” crazy days and nights already reported this as a fact a few weeks ago. I believe Remini and Haggis.

The thing is, the CoS does keep records of anything and everything that their members talk about during auditing. So, the CoS could be doing some serious bullshit here, but it doesn’t make the accusations untrue.

Always question never dismiss. Ive seen that nobody wants to question these women and thats silly you should question everything and everybody but you should never dismiss somebody outright.

Agreed. I want to believe the victims and that’s my default reaction. But rumours are a weapon, and now in the wave of accusations is when a false one can be the most devastating.

Yeah, this is a pretty...unique situation.
