I agree that its a racing incident, but one thing to note that is not often considered, the chopping that Max was planning to do was dangerous in itself as it would have suddenly cut off Hamilton’s downforce in one of the fastest corners on the track and triggered him to hit his breaks and likely take Max out with

My first reaction was to fault Hamilton.

This gets said so often, yet no studies have proven it to be at all true. It’s said only by those who have put excessively loud exhausts on as their personal justification which truly means they just want to be dicks to the rest of society by making excessive noise. If they really did save lives, then every exhaust

Would current Harley fans want an electric bike?
The ones around here seem to only want one to be jerks making tons of noise with open exhaust.

I think that CR’s biggest issue with Tesla is how the technology is presented and framed (aka marketing) to the consumer. Worse, they are calling out Tesla for making their customers into beta-testers. It isn’t the EV part and even when CR called Tesla out over quality (again, they also take in the price-point), it is

They practiced on the Explorer, Aviator, and F-150 to make sure the rollout was just right.

I value the opinion of Leclerc more than any other. He was right there and he is an F1 driver. I have driven on track, but club racing and F1 are apples and planets.  I can’t imagine doing what Max or Lewis did, but I also can’t imagine having millions of people debating something I did over the weekend.

Erik, it was a racing incident, pure and simple. Neither driver was about to yield the race to the other right then. Both drivers were going for the same thing and hoping that the other would bail out.

Lap 1? Racing incident.

In this environment, nine months of delays (these were originally scheduled for Nov/Dec 2020) is reasonable. If they build a quality product and then begin shipping in volume they’ll be forgiven.

Some people have never backed a project on Indiegogo and it shows

Yup, why anyone thinks anyone wants there to be delays is beyond me. Just had a client ream me out because their preorder also won’t arrive on time. Bud, Yamaha doesn’t benefit from not getting you your bike on time. I don’t benefit from not getting you your bike on time. The dealership doesn’t benefit from not

I’d be a little agitated if I were a customer”

Holy shit the matrix is ripping at the seams

Be nice, people.

Here’s what I read: Fred’s parents are offering to buy him a sedan worth up to $75k, IF he comes to visit them at least once a week for the next five years. After five years, they will turn over the title of the sedan to Fred - it is then his to do with whatever he wants....

I nominate you for governor of Georgia.

At this point its better if the car catches fire so you can just get insurance money and buy something else.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Plus Koenigsegg is already investing heavily in battery technology and hybrid cars between the Regera and the Gemera. Out of all the hypercar manufactures, other than Rimac, Koenigsegg is probably the closest to meeting the new emissions standards.
