Not going to lie, I stopped coming here for a few days after the deadspin thing went down. Gave it some thought and as long as GMG Union is still fighting, seems like it is worth still visiting, so I am back.

Honestly, the machine has never been broken for me. I tend to order mcflurries pretty frequently when I do go to McDonalds and have never had an issue so there is at least one person who has only ever had positive ice cream experiences.

When I lived there best finger steaks I had was at saladman. Unfortunately, it looks like they might have closed.

I mean, when I eat chicken and waffles you bet your ass there is syrup on my waffle. This seems like it would taste fairly similar. Probably be better with a donut with a bit more structural integrity than the ones being used however.

Not going to lie but I thought we were still talking hot pockets and there were people out there happily munching on their frozen pepperoni hot pocket.

I’ll be honest and say I have never had proper Cincinnati chili but the first time I heard about it, I thought it sounded fucking delicious. I didn’t have any idea at first that the “chili” wasn’t exactly what I would think of as chili. So the next time my pantry was looking pretty bare I cooked up some noodles and

As someone who grew up and lives in the western montana/north idaho area, that is an elephant ear. And there is no way to confuse it with a funnel cake at all.

Language is use, a hot dog is not a sandwich. At some point it might be, but until then take your language games elsewhere.

It’s light, it tastes refreshing and is super easy to drink over long periods of time out in the sun. It’s not sugary sweet like a lot of ciders or alcopops which makes it even easier out in the sun. It’s also available at every gas station, unlike a kolsch.

I love the new paradigm. I have an infant and needy dogs, so going to a movie is difficult. Conversely it is super easy to find time to watch a movie at home.

I can barely deal with my wife putting away groceries so there is no way I would be able to deal with random strangers doing it. Everything put away in the wrong place for eternity is my version of hell.

When I worked in an office I tended to eat at my desk but I definitely always took a lunch break. If I am expected to be in by 8 and leave at 5 for a 40 hour week, you bet your ass I am going to take a break. I’ll forgo it if the bosses only care about an 8 hour day, leaving at 4 is much more pleasant anyways.

I’m a traditionalist. You donate enough money that your name is ON the stadium.

Sure, you get a box or access to the VIP section because you like football, otherwise you would have a box at the symphony or a standing tee time at the club or whatever other corporate schmoozing stuff you enjoy. But that isn’t the point of a box. The point is to have a place to take clients and network, or even

At that level you aren’t really there to watch the game, you are there to network. It is going to be a lot of corporate donors and the like and is just another venue to forge connections and keep out the riff raff.

I have always been amazed at what people consider a small town. When I moved to Missoula for the first time, it felt like moving to the big city. The town I grew up outside of was <10k and that feels pretty large compared to some of the towns in Montana.

This is how I always eat my burgers at home. I only make burgers a couple of times a month and so keeping buns around is a hassle. However, I always have english muffins so problem solved.
