You would be correct. Credit due to Dick Cheney for not being an entirely despicable human being in that regard, but he's not exactly been a high profile supporter of same-sex marriage. Needless to say, Obama's public announcement will do a whole lot more for the cause than a dozen Dick Cheneys.

Maybe not, but the LCR about the absolute last people on earth who have any room to criticize Obama on this issue, given the company they keep.
