i think he actually did go out of his way to call himself out. it was very strange.

Okay, so I’ll admit I have one but didn’t buy it for the purpose they made it. I have it on my desk at work with a small battery so I can change music/volume while working without having to pull my phone out. It’s not super important, but it helps me from getting distracted on my phone.

Agreed; maybe just a 2-tier system, 5 over for 45 MPH or less, 10 over for 46 MPH or more. But they shouldn’t leave “10 over in a 20 MPH school zone is good enough” like they have now.

Because school zones in many places aren’t a hard stop 25mph. many also say “when children are present” and have their own flashers that indicate this. So the school zone may be a part of a street that is generally 45mph, but you only go 25 during school hours specifically before and after school.

Just one more nail in the nearly infinite number sealing the coffin of my desire to ever buy another new car. I actually am not against speed limiters, but just make it so the damned car won’t go any faster, not make an annoying racket. 85mph would be plenty.
