Haven’t seen any around my town, but saw 7 of them while in LA last month. And yes, we gawked and made snide comments about each and every one of them. One had a pink wrap on it for some business- while still ugly, it looked better than the default metal.

This was my first car! I got it from my grandparents when they went into a retirement home and downsized, so apparently within ‘the mission.’ (It was very momentous when I got to take the towels off the backseat.)

It would also make more sense as sheriffs are county-level positions.  Or maybe it’d be too confusing? Idk- it really is a bad show title.

I rewatched it recently online somewhere and it was just as surprising and delightfully odd as the first time.

From my foggy memories of watching the cartoons in the 80s, Popeye and Bluto were already pretty violent and could have been merchant sailors. Plus they had a looot of violence and abuse of Olive Oyl. So might already by halfway there to horror genre.

Get yourself a reusable filter/pod for the Keurig. That way, you can just fill it up with whatever premium coffee your heart desires, dump out the grounds after brewing, and reuse it forever. You can get one for less than $10. (We even have one in the shared work kitchen that hasn’t gone missing or broken [yet] after…

So, the innovation is that they cut it?

My partner has a soft spot for boiled dinner since his mom made it from time to time as a child. After enduring it once at her house, I demanded a lifetime pass from future family dinners that would include it. It was like eating hot ham water with watery, slimy root vegetables. Blech.

I went to a Subway last week while traveling. I went there because it was convenient and I didn’t want fried food. The roast beef sandwich was fine & exactly met my expectations. The teenager making it was polite.

I had to read a bunch of Karl Popper for a class in college and it hurt my brain. If only they had a cartoon version back then I might have stuck with that philosophy minor!

She had one! Well sort of, as Sean Spicer on SNL. Who is so ridiculous that a cartoon duck is just unnecessary.

Practically all candy hearts, Hershey’s kisses, and (likely) cheap chocolate in heart-shaped boxes. None of these are particularly good, but I gotta admire Alabama going all in with candy necklaces. Way to own the tackiness of the holiday, Alabama!

But I want to pay as much as 1,000 times more per gallon for my tap water... which I describe as “pretty great”!

NCIS & Grey’s Anatomy have also been on the air for about 1,000 years, so that also helps rack up the minutes viewed.

It never occurred to me their registers didn’t have scales.  They’re better than the used to be, but in the past I never bought produce there because of all the packaging.

On the bright side, with their trackers they’ll be easier to find after they get stolen and end up at various locations near the store.
