Yeah, I was thoroughly underwhelmed by Killing Eve and didn’t bother continuing after finishing the first season.

Given the irreparable damage that certain folk have done to this country under the guise of Christianity, I’m comfortable telling them to get fucked if this concept offends them.

When I was in Seattle this summer, I stopped at Sea Wolf Bakers and got croissant brittle. It ruled.

I have a couple of friends who seemed like they might be en route to being lifers, but now one is making six figures and the other is a professional musician pulling down $80K. I’m glad they got out.

Maybe now they could actually give either of the people Trebek himself thought would be good replacements a shot at guest hosting?

The bar I frequent on Friday nights has a taco stand inside of it and I almost always order their steak, chorizo, and potato tacos. The potatoes are typically crispy and delicious, and they overload the tacos so it doesn’t strike me as filler. The one time the potatoes were undercooked, though...no esta bien.

There is some logic to the loss leader approach, but the article explicitly states that a lot of people were ordering the dish and nothing else. Maybe they were still pulling in enough on the margins from those who did order additional items to make it worthwhile, though, at least for a while.

I mean, I get it being a publicity stunt and it’s clearly succeeded in that regard, but they could still have gotten most of that juice without making up to 20 of them a night for six months straight at no profit whatsoever.
