I learned that this book was finally coming out about 30 seconds after hearing of RBG’s death. It was a rollercoaster minute.

Season feels overstuffed, and Gaetano is by a good margin the least interesting and worst performed character the series has ever featured (making it all the more frustrating that Doctor Senator, one of the best characters this season, is dead at his machinations). I quit smoking years ago and you really can’t do it inside anywhere now anyway, but I do kinda miss those nights.

I wrote a short story once that ended with one of the characters bludgeoning someone to death to this song. Only after the fact did I learn of this phenomenon. One of the weirder coincidences of my life. That or I just heard about this and it lodged somewhere in my subconscious. Either way, freaked me out a bit.

It has some warts but I will always love the premise that the hero only wants to raise money to keep his stepdad alive so he can eventually beat the shit out of him.

That sucks. Good show, Dunst was unsurprisingly excellent in it.
