So there’s ASS and there’s models S3XY, what’s next? PENI$ (profits enhanced by nice initiatives?)

Real question: How is ASS any different than FSD, except at lower speeds? And since Tesla’s gone out of their way to declare that FSD actually needs a human to monitor things, why can ASS exist without one? How is this allowed?

The Ford 500's crossover cousin the Ford Freestyle also used a CVT. These cars share the Volvo P2 platform with the S80 and XC90 but Volvo had the good sense not to use a CVT.

first of all, how dare you

came here for this, big difference between the ECVT and CVT, did the lexus also use an ECVT since its a hybrid?

The Ford Maverick seems misplaced in this list due to it using an ecvt with a planetary gear set similar to a Prius setup. No belts like the other models that are known to be weak and unreliable. The setup in the Maverick and Prius should last the entire life of the vehicle with very minimal service.  Well, at least

My 2008 LS 600h L was cited as having a CVT. From what I can tell, it was entirely the ordinary longitude 8-speed used in the regular LS, just with a motor-generator and planetary gearset in place of the torque converter, that technically allowed for infinite ratios.

The Rare Classic Cars YT channel is great, btw. Crazy amount of detail in those videos.

K&N now THATS a lifetime filter, plus it give you a ton more power /s

Im thinking sawzall and a K&N... amirite?

Obvious NP is obvious.

And it’s from CA so there’s most likely very little to zero rust.

You mean NP, right?

New name brand tires? Running car? It’s a 200k mile turbo car but it’s in California. But for 3k that’s a risk i’m willing to take.

Three grand for running, driving, AWD, AND working AC? This is the definitive winter beater.

They picked this specifically to get a >95% NP on the books. $3k for a travel car that you can put another 50k-100k highway miles on? I’d buy it right now if it wasn’t already sold.

NP. Was perfect pocket money for a winter daily, bye bye.

An AWD wagon for $3k?  No wonder it’s already sold.  NP

VehiCross anyone?

I love the Juke.
