I appreciate the variety at the very least. Partnering with Magna is a fairly safe bet as an upstart, and I’m interested in them offering an alternative to established brands even if their initial products are medicore to us at best. More diversity in any industry is always good.

Meh, it looks fine. Saying it’s any prettier or uglier than any other EV CUV on the market is hyperbole since they all look basically the same. I think the Blazer EV looks worse, personally, and it ticks all your boxes just as well.

I mean, the Avalon is a Camry pretending to be bigger anyway.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ To each their own. I just prefer the outgoing 6er since it’s the closest we ever got to the excellent Pininfarina car:

It’s alright once you learn it, but tbh most of its functions are entirely unnecessary since all I use is bluetooth music streaming.

That’s a really good point. In those places where a Land Cruiser is already considered just as good if not better than having a Range Rover, a Century SUV might likewise be more desirable than a GLS or Bentayga.

Good. I was coming to make sure someone said Falcon. I submit an AU.

As a Volvo lover it’s a miss for me. It takes some of the stylistic foibles of the EX90 and makes them worse, namely the DLO shapes being misaligned with certain other shutlines and I hate the swooping front wheel arch accented by the clamshell hood, it’s just awful. I personally think both the platform-mates the

Most Geelys have near-Volvo safety by using shared parts and copying design philosophies.

I think they were talking about pre-touchscreen Sensus.

Pre-touchscreen Volvos used the power button for mute, short press to mute whatever’s playing and long press to turn off the whole system.

Hah, fair. I just can’t get over the rest of the body looking like generic muscle car like what RandomUsername3246 points out, and the rear is fugly as hell IMO.

God the M8 is gorgeous.

I just don’t see why I need to be pointing at something while going 60 mph down the road. I much prefer a knob because then it toggles me through all the options that are available. Every time I use the Lexus system I end up pointing and clicking at nothing at all because I’ve landed between the icons. It’s

Lots of ugly cars here, especially BMWs and Toyotas, but I have a dark horse nomination: the Q5 Sportback. Now the usual Audi Q5 is no looker but it’s fine in that generic Audi way. The Sportback just looks like a chubby tumor.

They’re not even that bad compared to the new one:

Or Audi. The Q5 Sportback is an affront to anyone with eyes. It’s really awful.

Polestar, the Pontiac of Volvo.

Oh, interesting. Considering most SRXs had the 3.6 I figured this would be the same. Are the 2.8s more reliable or just better performing?

This is a GM Opel thingie.
