I think the second-hand market would be killed a lot faster if game studios sold their game for say... $2 less each month until it hits $10.

@WillSerenity: You are getting every update up to release for free. You just won't be getting any expansion packs if he decides to make one. Honestly, though, mods will be able to replicate (better) anything he could add to the game, so I would consider your purchase safe.

@Angry Robot: But the hologram creates a 3D projection. Real life is 3D, 3D TVs attempt to present the 3D world through video.

@NateZ28: So, everyone is replying saying that R&D is expensive etc... but the real reason is that they are still making a low resolution blob right now, whether or not they have a super accurate camera.

The strangest part is that you can almost see the word 'Kotaku' overlayed on it. This is obviously fake, why would Sony advertise for Kotaku?
