Completely agree. The character design was also atrocious. They all had triangles for feet. It reminded me of Fire Emblem Awakening, except that game had really well written characters.

I loved the game until the second character joined your party. That was when the combat felt sloppy with way too much happening on screen. It’s unfortunate to see so many modern jrpgs attempt action focused battle mechanics in which all enemies and allies are moving and fighting simultaneously. This hurt otherwise…
