I agree. I look at all these “raw vegan” diets and think nooooo what are you doing humans are meant to cook food to obtain all our nutrients! Literally! Like there’s no evidence that we can survive long term without cooked food!

I’ve been looking at all this debate of Beyonce “Is she overrated? Is she too packaged?” and all that shit, and it really got me thinking about why I admire her.

I know she’s very polarizing and troubled, but I always wished her acting career took off. She’s got a real, raw, and unnerving talent as you can see in People vs Larry Flynt. She really is an untapped resource as a character actress. Maybe this role will get her back out there.

Against all better judgement, I have always loved her, and hope she does well in this role. I want her to be well, ultimately. It would be really cool if this adaptation turned out to be great on its own merits.

We’ll see what actually happens with that, and if she “shows up.”
