Nah those people drive BMW and Audi. Buick types might have recumbents though!

Or they could’ve just ‘shopped it without actually trying. Because how many Buick owners also own bikes? Let alone actually ride them?

Right. CAN being two wire, bi-directional, running on 5v, at various frequencies. We also have LIN, and flex-ray. CAN being most common, but limited in nature. These generally cover every control unit communication networks I know of, including variations, with the exceptions being MOST and D2D. But CAN and LIN are

Sure. But even Ford Panthers had it late 90's. I’ve got a ten year old care sitting behind me right now with at least 4-5 CANs. Granted, it’s not exactly cheap (quite the opposite) but still. My point is that it’s not a new technology.

Hmm maybe! I forgot they still made such cars!

Welcome to the 90's! Let me know when we’re talking about actual modern communication networks. Flex-ray anyone?

09 probably still had CAN. It’s been in use since the 90's at least.

Is this guy doing it right?

Sorry I saw the bolt and immediately threw up.

Already wanted to, but I’m now even more likely to visit the Guggenheim.

I followed his stuff for a bit after he moved on, and felt the same way. It felt like they weren’t giving him the freedom he had with lanesplitter and that’s what diminished the magic. Still a great writer, but over there he’s just a goldfish in a tiny tank. With the right space and freedom though, even non-motorcycle

Sean’s writing was one of the main reasons I got back into motorcycles after being away for a long time.

Not a 4x4^2, this is a pleb’s G-wagen.

There is a big difference in sound with that package and without. And no, they won’t sound the same. Because bends, diameters, lengths, etc are all different, not to mention mufflers and resonators. Yes, the mufflers and resonators are usually different between each chassis.

Oh they definitely sound different, especially when were talking M177 in an S63 for example. M177 and M178 are very similar, but that’s only half the formula. The rest of the exhaust system will vary, to different degrees, depending on the chassis in which it’s installed.

$700? Cute. Try $15k-20k on a modern diesel if it’s run on gas for too long. Entire tank with all internals. All soft lines in the low pressure system. Every single component in the high pressure system. Catalysts and DPF.

Ha! As a tech in Oregon, I can tell you pump jockeys fuck this up more than the average Joe. But for people who keep their receipts, the gas station foots the bill.

On top of HHFP’s response to you; brake fluid is some interesting stuff. It isn’t compatible with any other automotive fluids. Remember, it absorbs water, which isn’t a thing normal oils do. Brake fluid, if mixed with ATF, or some types of PS fluid will actually start to thicken and eventually get to roughly the

There was a captain planet episode about this!

Didn’t Bozi. T. do a technical write up about this recently also?
