I'm not sure. I wish the seller gave a bit more info on it.

It's illegal basically because the state wants more money out of you and they get it by making you pay for a dealers license and taxes on the cars. Depending on where you live and how many cars you want to do, you might be okay without one though. For instance, in Michigan as long as I don't flip over 6 cars a year

How drivable was it? One of the things that I'd want out of it would be highway speeds which was why I'm leaning towards the 4.3. I love the sound of the Dauntless though.

Huh. I really thought that they could be ordered with a small block. I guess not though. It's a little before my time though so all I see are V8 conversions and I must have just assumed they were ordered that way.

Came here to say this. These were in everything. I thought that at some point you could get a 302 or a 289 in a pinto though.

Gaahhhh I already decided against swapping this in my Willys and using a 4.3 V6 from an S10 instead. Now you're making me second guess that. What transmission and axles did you have on it?

Michigan

My truck was in the shop this summer to have work done. My normal mechanic told me that they weren't able to do it properly and asked if they wanted to bring it to a specialist for me. I said that was fine, and they brought it over for me. The first night that it was there, the door locks shorted and the truck burnt

I just bought that exact same car minus the vinyl roof. I thought it was well optioned. Then I read this post and mine doesn't have these.

True, torque is amazing. But I'd still rather have it through a 440 instead of an electric motor, and then I also get the big block rumble instead an electric whine.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about the Town Car being the first choice (I own a Continental of the same vintage). It is very soft compared to any other car I've sat in. And it's not exactly fun to clean inside. I spent an awful lot of time detailing mine. That being said, it's an amazing car any time you're not

Why should I either change the transmission fluid or never change it? What should I do if I don't know what the PO did?

You've already done new cars. Do something older this time. Drive a classic. You could even buy an easy drivable project and write articles about fixing it too. A lot of classic cars can be found in near perfect condition for $50,000, and driver quality cars can be found for a lot less, which leaves you money to make

Link?

Really? I don't care for those since I like muscle cars, but would still like to drive those, much less destroy one because it's not my taste. You just sound like an import-douchebag that doesn't car about any care if it's not yours. If nothing else, just shut up and let us enjoy our cars and we'll do they same for

Better yet, just stop having wives

Still. It's a seat back. It's not that hard to fix and you get your classic back. Now go find a seat on craigslist for $300.

Can you please explain the difference- I see a hood, rear panel, a stereo, a sway bar, a grille and an updated color of an original. All of which could be reverted back to stock if you wanted
