This. My in-laws have a mid-level-functioning daughter with Down. She’s now in her 30s and her parents’ religion would not even allow the daughter a tubal ligation to prevent unintended pregnancy. Insane. And the parents are approaching 80 with no care plan or resources in place for the daughter.
