I think the same. That whole Salem scene was setting up the idea of a witch who has dangerous abilities, but doesn’t want to use them for evil. Unlike her mother who lashed out, Agatha probably wants to help Wanda “be good” just like she wanted to be.

S.W.O.R.D. Director Tyler Haywood (Josh Stamberg) is a more banal villain than Agatha, likely because he doesn’t have a viral theme song. However, he’s no less sadistic.

I wrote this over on Defector when CP2077 Launched.

Fallout 76 seems to be experiencing a resurgence in popularity since it appears they finally pulled everything together.

It wasn’t as bad as all this, but Diablo 3 definitely had a turnaround after some serious backlash about the initial game that launched.

Sure. Elder scrolls games are always a disaster on release. Destiny itself didn’t fare all that well until the first expansion.

The Divison. Some would say Fallout 76, though I would not.

I’d also like to point out that Norm absolutely does not tell Vision that Wanda is doing this. He only says that “she” is in his head.

I don’t think her powers have been amped up, just unleashed. As Monica notes she wrecked Thanos by herself. That was just the writers reminding us that she’s a powerhouse. Someone showed her that she can do this (please, MCU have the guts for it be Mephisto) and it seems there’s something outside of what she made

At least half the fun of this series has been how good they are at the “comedy” bits.

The blank machine and her unwillingness for multiple blood draws, makes me wonder of Monica is hiding her own special powers. And she does seem angry about Captain Marvel.

You shouldn’t be able to slip between a Meredith Baxter Birney/Joanna Kerns vibe and a " superpowerful being you don't want to mess with" vibe this easily and yet somehow she's doing it. In a different way Bettany's sitcom dad facade slipping into outrage and confusion is also really well done.

Oh, it’s a very real possibility Hayward is just “evil” and is a part of Hydra or something. (the MCU is not really known for their subtle villain reveals)
my point is, looking at the situation objectively, Wanda seems to be a very serious, and possibly unstable threat that needs to be stopped and trying to reason with

There are some clues that suggest that Hayward is one of the bad guys, if not THE bad guy. The diplomas in his office are arranged in a hexagonal shape and the carpet has a hexagonal pattern. There were some other theories and possible clues, but these are the big ones.

I think you are being a little harsh on Hayward.
While he is jumping to conclusions and is very ‘gung ho’ about shooting first asking questions later, from his perspective Wanda is posing a very serious threat (though maybe not immediate) and she is basically holding thousands of people hostage, and from Monica’s own

Elizabeth Olsen is a HUGE part of why this show is working so well. She is flipping effortlessly between an angry Scarlet With, glimpses of the clearly grieving Wanda, and wacky sitcom wife.

*looks at current state of the game*

I’m also struggling to see the moral quandary here. The more people vaccinated = fewer overall deaths. If the vaccines are about to expire anyway, they will be wasted.

Yeah, that’s how I’m seeing it. If the choice is somebody, anybody, getting the vaccine by chance or it’s garbage...use that shit. The more people getting vaccinated, the better. Obviously, assholes using money\connections for preferential treatment should be put in stocks in the public square and pelted with animal

Ah, this was excellent. Wanda’s turn at the end was absolutely chilling, and clearly shows that they’re going in a House of M direction--even if I’m sure they’ll make Wanda more sympathetic than downright crazy.
