Absolutely. Young kids don’t need an OLED model.

About twenty years ago, I randomly watched part of a weird sci-fi horror film set on Mars on HBO. I didn’t know what the name of the film was, and every time I tried to describe it to people — “it’s about astronauts who go to Mars, and there are these insects that attack them” — they looked at me like I was crazy.

Your math is off because it assumes that Cleon 11 starts when Cleon 10 dies. But that’s not how it works in the genetic dynasty. Each Cleon is only ~20 years separated from each other (with the exception of the first clone, who was only born when Cleon 1 died).

I don’t get what all the fuss is about. That cover of Creep was a great fit for The Social Network and this cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit is a great fit for this movie.

There’s a difference between saying “we want a quiet, contemplative superhero movie” and “Black Widow’s third act is a bad fit with the rest of the movie.”

“It doesn’t make a great deal of sense that the face of a country’s propaganda campaign would be pulled off that duty for overseas undercover work”

Isn’t that basically what happened in the first Captain America movie?

Didn’t they jack up the price of the non-Ultimate tiers to force people onto Ultimate last year?

You don’t even need an Xbox console now that xCloud has launched! I switched from an Xbox One to a PS5, but still kept paying for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate just for the opportunity to play on PC and play cloud games on my Macbook.

When I tried to talk with Lorik, I couldn’t pick either the paragon or the renegade option. They were both greyed out.

That final shot of Walker with the bloody shield was *money.*

Are you saying Cat is some kind of anti-vaxxer now? I thought she was just like a normal health/science reporter. She was at BuzzFeed a few years ago, I think.

If you’re upset that Apple allowed mobile gaming to become a free-to-play/microtransaction nightmare, then why oppose Apple Arcade? It’s the solution to that problem!

Exactly. The author of this review says that this is a story of “cycles of abuse,” where Agatha lashes out at Wanda because her mother lashed out at her.

I agree with this. When the episode ended, I turned to my girlfriend and said, “So Agatha’s clearly not a villain, right?”

You could say the same about BF2. It was a terrible experience at launch, but that wasn’t because the fundamentals weren’t strong. It was because so much content was effectively locked behind micro-transactions. Once EA bowed to pressure and got rid of those, the game was fine.

This show has really been a phenomenal showcase for Bettany and especially Olsen.

I didn’t mind Baldwin in Chuck so much since his character was also a bit of a right-wing nut job.

Not that it really matters, but given the expansionist and expeditionary character of the Fremen Jihad, I weirdly think “Crusade” fits better.

The reality was that he’d pieced Star Wars together from a variety of sources —including comic books and strips and SF stories (both “low” pulp and “higher” forms like Foundation and Dune)
