Oh, and you know the AMC/Jeep 4.0 is a V6 too, right?

You cared enough to leave a comment!

love, love, LOVE this song!

That Gremlin is actually the locking fuel cap, not a hood ornament...

It looks like the automotive equivalent of Voldemort.

That flip up screen obstructs the dash vents.

No such thing as a 1969 Matador, since the Matador didn’t come out till 1971. Maybe a Rebel or Ambassador?

I and two friends did a ground up restomod on a 73 Hornet coupe a few years ago. Loaded it up with factory equipment and it was a seriously nice car with some subtle upgrades from factory that still looked like they were born on the car. This car was stripped to a bare metal shell and painted and then brought back

the Cutlass Supreme (RWD through 1988) was a G-body.

The Montego would be the biggest loss for me out of all of these...

I grew up in south ‘Bama too, so I know of what you speak of...

Cars are just bigger nowadays.

<<Judging you>>

Daniel Strohl of Hemmings is a Chevette enthusiast. Of course he’s like me and likes oddball stuff (like shorty Astro) vans too.

This list doesn’t come up???? Help??

True mostly, but there are a few exceptions. Notably, the newer Fiats and similar models (i.e. Ford Fiesta/Focus) that have an automatically shifted manual transmission. While it generally functions as an “automatic” transmission, it still has the usual manual clutch components and is subject to the same sort of wear.

Except, that’s a 1975/76 that’s getting the hack in the picture!

It’s cute. Makes you want to tuck it into bed with a warm blanket.

David Freiburger at work? You’re covering Hot Rod stuff now? :)

Carpenter bees hate it too. And carburetor cleaner.
