@ZebraMuffins: I bought a blue one prior to the press conference and they refunded it.

@mrchnd: MBP trackpads are not like any other trackpads you've ever experienced. It's like drinking a fantastic bottle of wine after a lifetime of cheap Chardonnays.

So should there be an update in the App store, cause I don't see one...

@Dzenan Palavra: Bumpers are going for upwards of $45-50 on Craigslist. Whether or not they're worth anything to Apple, they're certainly worth something to the market.

@BobSuperJr: This is pretty smart, actually. It keeps all the traffic off their site. It also reduces the chance of scammers getting free bumpers that they aren't entitled to.

@JeffPom: You underestimate the cheapness of Chinese labor, coupled with the relatively low cost of conveyor belt mass-productions. The more units you make, the less they cost. Not to mention, there's hardly any material to the Bumper.

@sanjeeva7: $29 is the retail price of the bumper—the production cost is probably $0.50 at most. As for the 3rd party cases, I'm sure they got those super cheap too.

This reminds me of this song:

@colorebel: Me too (on the first one). The bigger problem is, I can't stop making two spaces.

So, it's definitely a 30 day return policy at Apple? The salesperson kept saying 14 days, but I knew that didn't sound right.

@CubeRat: I'm so embarrassed when I'm with people at a super fancy restaurant and they order their steak well done, and express their potential disgust if they find the slightest bit of pink in their steak.

I've got to say, I judge people who have Blogspot blogs. With all the other, better options out there, blogspot feels like a hotmail email account to me. Maybe I'm an uninformed buffoon...

@Gators15: Yep, I'm one of those. I am counting the days until I put this sluggish, banged up puppy to rest—though I don't know how many days that'll be :\

@LowFuel: Don't know what kind of Premier site other people were looking at, but my biz site didn't even have the option to preorder the phone. I finally got through with the Apple Store app.

@DeadWriter: I borrowed an old copy of Howards End from a professor a few years ago, and the notes—from two different previous readers (my professor and another reader) made reading the story so much better.

From the looks of it, the bumper just goes around the rim of the phone—it doesn't actually cover the front or back. So, the argument that "Apple had to release its own protective cover, so obviously the phone is fragile" is kind of moot with that as its backing. Furthermore, I've had my iPhone 2G for nearly two

Two years ago, I made the mistake of getting a pale blue, cloth couch. Now, it's worn-looking, and the two cats I've acquired since then have snagged the hell out of it, just from leaping off of it—not from scratching.

The elders in my family always taught us to sprinkle salt on the stain as soon as possible. It'll absorb the grease, and there's always salt handy when you're eating. Of course, when I tell my husband to sprinkle salt on his shirt when he gets a stain, he looks at me like I'm crazy.

So, I have a contract on a townhouse. Shed some light for me on what to expect and look out for in the closing process. Also, any tips for a new homeowner would be great.

What are five year-old girls into these days? I need to find a birthday present. Preferably something I can purchase at B&N or some such place—meaning—not Toys 'r Us or any other equally nauseating store.
