Well that’s depressing. I’m about 4 years into working in the public sector on an income based loan repayment plan and had hoped 6 years from now the rest of my grad school loans would be forgiven.

This just kills me. I’m lucky to have a reasonably high income and I pay more in taxes each year than most of these dummies on facebook railing against taxes earn in an entire year. I would happily pay more in taxes if it meant better infrastructure, universal healthcare coverage, education, etc.

The only thing I can think of that worked in Obama’s favor is that they didn’t have the 20+ year outrage/conspiracy fueled hatred against him like they do the Clinton’s. They probably only hated Obama for a year or two tops before he got elected!
