Ipse dixit, my good sir!
Ipse dixit, my good sir!
Honestly, same.
Having suffered through the fans in both cities, can confirm.
I had urgent care send me to the ER last week to get some blood work/EKG done to rule out a blood clot (I was totally fine! I got processed through the ER reasonably fast!), but I’m so terrified to get the bill. And I have really great insurance and a well-paying job.
This is utterly fascinating to me. I’m a staffer for a state legislative body (although we might be using this term differently, not sure? I’m an adviser to members directly, not an assistant) and I make about $95k, started somewhere in the $80s several years ago. It’s a little shocking to me that congressional…
Hollywood’s getting a little fast and loose with the handshakes these days, so I’d say scrummy.
Yep, another Washingtonian chiming in to say I was crystal clear on what I was voting for and deeply supportive of the new gun control measures.
I’m so mad at how much my skin loves Good Genes. I should have never tried it because nothing else has ever made my skin look this good. So freaking expensive. Siiiigh.
Same! It was just so dang cute.
Trainwreck was definitely what made me go from “sure, LBJ is fine I guess” to “OMG I LOVE HIM FOREVER”
Co-sign this. I still spent most of the end of the movie making snarky comments, but it was generally enjoyable for a Friday night with a few glasses of wine when you don’t want to think.
I made it through 31 years of life without having this issue, only hearing about it. Just recently experienced it for the first time and hoooo boy is it awful.
What’s weird is that I, a person who has only seen one Iron Man movie and Black Panther, saw this movie (mostly needed something to do on a rainy day in South Korea) and did not have the issues this author did comprehending the movie. It was perfectly enjoyable and understandable, even with little context.
If it helps, I live in a border state and have been to Canada several times since the election! Mostly people just laugh and offer sympathy. It’s really quite comforting, actually.
I absolutely watch that movie every single Christmas season.
I suspect this is possibly a non-US thing. I took two ski trips to Canada during the games and watched a lot of the Olympics on CBC and they always called it that!
This is an obnoxious and expensive recommendation, but the Armani CC cream is my go-to on days that my skin is looking real good on its own and just needs a little glowy coverage.
Fearless youths are the most terrifying part about skiing as an adult.
I mean, James Franco himself was in attendance and wasn’t even asked about HIS OWN ACTIONS.
Man, same. I always remove all headphones, etc. when the pilot comes on but I’m still lucky to catch every third word.
