Do you have any idea how many women’s lives and careers have been ruined just by someone’s words alone without a single shred of proof? Sucks that it can now happen to men too, doesn’t it?

lol

Due process is exactly what’s happening. It’s standard human resources procedure to put people on leave while credible allegations are investigated. There are enough witnesses that the company has already talked to to make it a credible allegation. Read the details instead of reacting to the headlines. “Due Process”

Shoot us into the sun and end humanity. Would be the most brain dead decision ever made.

Same here, dude, some guys just ruin it for all of us. Notice to all the great ladies out there, hang tight and fight, we’re cleaning the bad ones out. Don’t be afraid to speak out, most of us are with you.

I feel that Hardwick is not the right fit to moderate the Doctor Who panel for several reasons, but that is certainly one of them

Buddy, “due process” doesn’t apply in the Court of Public Opinion, and if it ever did, it certainly hasn’t since... I don’t know, name your social media. Myspace?

Yeah, because it’s only you who isn’t abusing anyone...

Your reading comprehension sucks!

She has proof of their abusive relationship. She hasn’t released it but she is holding on to it in case he sues her.

I think you could name literally anyone I’ve never heard of and I’d feel confident they would do a better job than Chris Hardwick.

I am thinking that Felicia Day is about to have a lot more work on her plate, if she wants it.

I’m not saying we’re at the “Build a giant rocket, load all the men into it and shoot it into the sun” stage yet, but I’m going to need all my fellow dudes to seriously stop abusing women because I really do not want to be shot into the sun, and I’m getting more worried by the day.

I may have never heard of that woman until yesterday and still know almost nothing about her but I’m sure she’d do a better job.

Here’s a better idea: keep Chris’s shows on the air, only replace him with Chloe Dykstra.

By the way, as an addition, I really liked the way Orser interacted with the athletes. I haven’t interviews from him and I can’t claim any idea what he is like in person, but every time he was there with a skater, he appeared supportive to those in need and celebratory with those who succeeded. He just seemed to have

That was Brian Orser, who is a World Champion, double Olympic Silver medalist, and 8 time Canadian champion. He also coached the Men’s Gold and Bronze medalists at this Olympics. He is probably the best coach working in figure skating right now.

I looked up the transcript - what a piece of work. She’s done.

I haven’t watched them yet, but read a writeup of them on SI and felt like maybe the writer must have taken her tone out of context or something and I should listen to her myself... Guess not. That is really too bad because I was excited earlier in the Olympics when I saw her triple.

I really enjoyed the figure skating in this Olympics. While the top 2 spots were generally decided in most of the events, the skating that was great was great.
