Simmons was also not all of Grantland, and appears to have been a pretty good person to work for, even if he got too wrapped up in his own brand. And Grantland was pretty fantastic. Almost as fantastic as the fake Grantland twitter feed.

Maybe you noticed, Simmons left Grantland months ago. A lot of good people just lost their jobs, and our industry just lost a lot of good paying work opportunities.
