You spent a notable portion of this article taking shots at your anonymous neighbor for having a completely reasonable concern and doing a totally reasonable thing about it. I wouldn't actively call you an asshole but I feel like you're not in a position to be reasonably offended by that either.
I realize much of this issue has to do with property values, but I’d like to pose this question: Why is it that a broken car reduces property values? (Particularly if those cars aren’t dangerous or leaky in any way). Why do people see broken (but safe) cars as “ugly”?
Ultimately, it seems like a socioeconomic thing.…
Because no one wants to live in a junk yard. You have TWELVE mostly garbage cars that were crap when they were new... as much as 72 years ago... and now they are sitting around rusting. If you actually took 12 dumps on your lawn and got rid of the cars your home would look better! Think about that. Modern society does…
That’s an easy response when you rent.
This is obviously a blind spot for you. Letting people live their lives as they see fit is fine, as long as it doesn’t negatively affect others. And there’s no question this does. It IS a socioeconomic thing, and that’s not unreasonable. I just bought a house, a nice place to raise my family, and now the guy…
David, your sense of empathy and self awareness needs some work.
David,
You live in a community. You agree to abide by rules established by your community to keep it clean, pleasant, orderly, and safe. If you can’t abide, you can live somewhere else where your neighbors are far enough away to not care.
Enjoy your lightness and agility while you can because one day you’ll grow up to be heavy, slow and clumsy like everyone else.
“Well that explains it, you aren’t really anything are you?”
There are lap charts published that confirm this - Moity’s book on LeMans, published in 1974 has lap charts for all the LeMans races up to the date of publication.
This will decimate all, after you put about 348,779,133 dong in it or more.
“I don’t know too many people who drive 194 miles in a day regularly, so I still wouldn’t consider range anxiety too high on my list of things to be worried about when buying a new EV.”
Don’t forget, this was under optimal conditions. Try driving in winter with the heater on and in snow/rain and your range is…
I’m mentioned it before, but it bears repeating: barnfinds.com is what BaT used to be, and is a far more realistic (or dangerous) place for us poors to be hanging out these days.
The way I see it, if you’re gonna turn a robot that shreds tires into a car, why not do it with some style?
Like it or not, it was the actual Mustang for the late 70's. It’s still a sporty-looking two-door coupe, as all Mustangs have been. It’s not a completely different type of vehicle. That it was slow and anemic is not necessarily the point of the current angst with respect to the Mach-E. As others have pointed out,…
Obvious joke stretches my photoshop skills but welcome to the future:
Here’s the side and front teasers with some color curves adjusted:
One of the best things I ever did with my Volkswagen was take a gigantic trunk half as big as the car itself, strap…
